The Goodfellaz Project
Black men rarely have a space to vent about their frustrations with life. From police brutality, driving while black, to managing finances, career, relationships, communication and manhood. Who do we talk to about it? Typically no one, we just bottle it up out of fear of being labeled weak or soft. "Bottling Up" leads to an increase in stress levels , medical conditions and mental health issues. This becomes dangerous, as our black men suffer in silence and use unhealthy skills to try and feel normal again. It's time to change that narrative. As black men we have to utilize healthy ways to work through our issues collectively, so we can properly HEAL! What better way to do that in an environment around other brothers that have walked similar paths and look just like you!
